Northern Chamber of Industries

The Northern Chamber of Industries (NCI) was incorporated on 8, November 2022, and inaugurated its provincial office in January, 2023, at No. 54, Clock Tower Lane, Jaffna.

Our esteemed team consists of Industry experts, Professionals and dedicated staff who are passionate about driving economic growth in the Northern Sri Lanka.

Our Board consisted of 11 directors. They are from Mannar, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, Mullaitivu and Jaffna, 

Our Members : The Heartbeat of our Organization. At NCI, our story is incomplete without the vibrant community of members who make up our foundation. 

Our Member community is a diverse tapestry representing a wide spectrum of businesses, industries and backgrounds. We have members in all five districts in the Northern Province.

Mr. Sankarappillai Naguleswaran, is the Chairman of NCI. Also serves as the Managing Partner of the Nutri Food Packers (Pvt) Ltd which manufactures and exports of regional value added agricultural products. He has been successful in innovation, promoting and marketing the dehydrated fruits and vegetables products.

Miss. Francis Jesmin Jeyamalar, is the Vice Chairman of NCI. She is the Co-founder and managing director of Nature Wins (Pvt) Ltd. She possesses a bachelor’s in engineering, post-graduate diploma in energy technology and a post-graduate diploma in business management.

Mr Poornachandren is the Managing Director of the Star Industrial Services (Pvt) Ltd. He is the director of Bio Tec Ltd and serves as a Board Member of the Faculty of Technology in University of Jaffna. Mr Poornachandren is a Mechanical Engineer and completed his higher education in London.

Mr Piratheepan serves as  one of the director representing Mullaitivu District. He is the Managing Director of SPK Rock (PVT) Ltd, Alura (Pvt) Ltd and IRDG (Pvt) Ltd. He is Secretary of the Mullaitivu Industrial Forum. One of the Board Of Directors of Community Development Organization.

Mr. Rajathurai Piratheep is one of the Board of Directors of NCI. He is the Managing Director of the Titanic Restaurant  in Nelliyadi, Jaffna. He is a Certificate
Chef and the Proprietor of Titanic IT Solutions. He is one of the Board of Directors of Nelliyadi Traders’ Association.

Ms. Rubini Uthayakumar is one of the Board of Director of NCI. She is the Managing Director of the ANK Exports and ANK Farm. She is one of the members of “Sanjeevi” the Association of Local Producers. She is successfully running her business since 2019.

Mr. Pirathiban is one of the Board of Directors of NCI. He is the Managing Director of the Theepan Hardware and Oyster Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. He is running his business successfully since 2011. He was the former Director of Speed Management Services (Pvt) Ltd.

Mr. Dilan is one of the Board of Directors of NCI and the Managing Director of D Villa Guest House, Garden House and Beach House. He served as a lecturer of Sri Lanka Tourism Board Hotel School for more than 20 years. He has completed MBA in Project Management.

Mr. Shanmugaraja Ushanhan, a Board Director of NCI, is a dynamic leader skilled in business strategy, imports, exports, printing, and digital communication. As Director of Printech Vision and Jaffna Printers, he promotes tourism, social development, and impactful brand growth.

Mrs. Sathyaluxmy Sathyaseelan, a Board Director of NCI, leads Arun Enterprise, a growing Palmyrah-based food brand. She transforms traditional Palmyrah harvests into modern, nutritious products, promoting local resources, value addition, and sustainable community-focused development.
