Commerce (WCIC) jointly organized an Industrial Exposure Visit to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, for a selected group of SME entrepreneurs from the food processing sector in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. The visit aimed to expose participants to modern technologies, machinery, packaging practices, and business colaboration opportunities with Indian counterparts.
This visit was under the part of the Business Membership Organization (BMO) project- Phase I,
implemented by the Asia Pacific Business Association (OAV) under the financial support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Corporation and Development (BMZ). The delegation comprised Board Members of NCI, the CEO of NCI, WCIC Manager – Northern Chapter and SME business owners engaged in food-related manufacturing sectors such as snacks, pickles, palmyrah products, spices, and grains
