The Northern Chamber of Industries (NCI) was delighted to welcome the SEQUA Evaluation Mission for a two-day visit to review the progress and achievements of the Business Membership Organization (BMO) Project, implemented with the support of SEQUA, OAV, and funded by BMZ.
During the visit, the delegation met with the NCI Board of Directors, staff, and member companies, and visited two NCI member enterprises—Jaffna Chef Food & Spices and Kuperaluxmy Enterprises—to witness the project’s impact on local SMEs.
The mission also included meetings with the Hon. Governor of the Northern Province and the Export Development Board (EDB), highlighting the importance of collaboration in promoting SME development and regional economic growth.
The visit concluded with a feedback session at the NCI office, where the evaluation team appreciated NCI’s progress in strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing member services, and building strategic partnerships.
NCI extends its sincere gratitude to BMZ, SEQUA, OAV, our partners, Board of Directors, members, and staff for their continued support and commitment to empowering SMEs in the Northern Province.
