The Business Membership Organization (BMO) Partnership are a tried and tested instrument of Germany’s Development Cooperation.
The German Asia-Pacific Business Association and Northern Chamber of Industries, Jaffna, Sri Lanka launched their BMO Partnership in January 2023 created with the aim of intensifying the involvement of German Private Sector.
ISB was established as a Statutory Body under the Provincial Council of North Western Province (Wayamba), Sri Lanka in mid 1990 with the sponsorship of Knonard Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) of Germany with the objective of accelerating the investment promotion and industrial development of the Province. Subsequently ISB diversified its activities and now the functionally as an autonomous Industrial and Business Development Service (BDS) Provider, based in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka operating island wide and internationally.
The NCI has partnership with ISB in May 2023 with the objective of establishing a long term sustainable relationship with the aim of building a strategic alliance between the NCI and ISB by sharing technical expertise, knowledge, experience and strengths of both organizations in order to provide a comprehensive service package for the benefit of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Northern Province and in return to derive mutual benefits to both organizations.

A member of Connaissance De Ceylan Ltd, CDC Events is manned by most experienced professionals who had been in the industry for more than decades and served the Industry in National and Regional Level.
NCI has partnership in August with CDC Events to conduct Northern International Trade Exhibitions (NITE) with the objectives of creating ideal opportunity for the business community from all over to meet potential entrepreneurs and investors in the North.

The Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC) of the University of Jaffna was established on 29 May 1999 as the 5th Faculty in the University of Jaffna to conduct BCom and BBA degree programmes. FMSC was the 6th Faculty among the Management Faculties of the State Universities in Sri Lanka.
NCI is implementing a Small and Medium scale Enterprises’ Mentorship pnprogramme with the FMSC – UOJ since August 2023. The Objective of the Programme is to empower the skills of SME business owner to improve their knowledge on financial management and planning of their businesses.
